Order Confirmation - orders are confirmed once a 50% deposit is paid. 

Cancelations/Reschedule - no cancelations or refunds a week before pick-up/delivery. However, if the cancellation is longer than a week, then 50% of the payment will be returned. If final payment is not received by the due date and no reply has been received to a reminder request - then the order shall be forfeited. Rescheduling is allowed, based on availability as I do everything myself, and I only accept two-three orders per week.

Payment method - Venmo is preferred on the Venmo business page @cakesbycy (although cash can be accommodated), and I am also now accepting payments through Zelle at buttercreamflowers@gmail.com.

Available cakes - mini cakes, one- and two-tier cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, and loaf cakes.

Packaging - All other packaging is in recyclable cake boxes.

If the design requested is more complex and elaborate  - please ask me for a quote. Please also note: I do not recereate other cake designs.

Delivery and pick-up - Pick-up is preferred, with the exception of two-tiered cakes, which must be delivered with specialized equipment. You can also, for mini-cakes and cupcakes, use the Uber Pick-up/Delivery Service. In addition, I also do hand-delivery myself using Uber. A 20% tip to the driver is included in the delivery quote, and is limited to the NYC area. Once delivered we are not responsible for any damages incurred (including, but not limited to, temperature and handling of the cake).

Allergies - Our kitchen is NOT nut-free nor gluten-free. It is the customer's responsibility to disclose this to your guests and any other potential allergens.

Teaching and classes - In the future, I will be offering buttercream flower piping classes and one-to-one tutorials.
